The Hunt for B-Roll

by Joey on May 27, 2007

This will be a fairly short post because I have a lot of work to do today. Right now I’m on a search for B-roll – any footage that will support or better illustrate the documentary.

I mentioned the Prelinger Archives before, but now I’ve finally had time to dig through it and I’ve found some amazing pre-cubicle office footage in great quality. And the best part – all this footage is under the Creative Commons License, meaning I’m free to use it however I like without the need for a release.

Though these two films I came across won’t make it into the documentary, I thought I’d share them for their pure entertainment value: Safety in Offices and Coffee Break.
